ROUTE: AIRPORT – PINNAWALA – KANDY – DAMBULLA – SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA -ANURADHAPURA- COLOMBO – AIRPORT
Day 1 :AIRPORT – ARRIVAL – KANDY.
- Arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be greeted by “SHA’ chauffeur guide .
- En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Watch the elephant’s bath in the river and milk Feeding to baby elephants.
- Visit the temple of the tooth relic in Kandy.
- Evening you’ll have the opportunity to see a dance performance, where you will see the famous kandyan dances, as well as up-country and devil dances.
- Check in to the hotel .
- Overnight stay at Kandy.
Day 2 : KANDY –DAMBULLA – MINNERIYA.
- Breakfast at the hotel and Visit Royal Botanical Gardern in Kandy.
- En-route visit the Matale Spice Herbal garden.
- Dambulla cave temple – which dates back to the 1st Century BC. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place.
- Optional – Afternoon Take a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park/Village tour.
- Overnight stay at Habarana Or Sigiriya Hotel.
Day 3 : HABARANA –SIGIRIYA-POLONNARUWA
- Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to climb the rock fortress of Sigiriya – a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”.
- Visit UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa, which was the medieval capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th – 13th century A.D.
- Overnight stay at Habarana or Sigiriya Hotel.
Day 4 : HABARANA-ANURADHAPURA –AIR PORT.
- Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Anuradhapura and visit the first ancient city (UNESCO World heritage site ).
- Visit the Museum, Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruvanweliseya, Jethavanarama (World Largest Bricks Building), Abayagiriya.
- Evening visit Negambo Market Area and proceed to departure fight.
